Our Custom Made Mountand our next project a Dome Observatory
Darrell Richards : My main imaging rig is an 8 inch F10 Celestron C8, which I purchased used in April of 2003 from Astromart. The scope is mounted on either a Losmandy GM100 or a custom made mount of my own design and manufacture. I also have an autoguider and a Stiletto focuser. I use an unmodified Canon Rebel XT for imaging. My quide scope is a 90mm Flourite triplet which is custom mounted to my C8 Celestron 8" C8 Deluxe Fork. Below is Chris's amazing 5-inch F5 Elcan scope. There were only three made at Elcan as prototypes, Two were sold to employees - lucky Chris, He has it mounted in one of our DIY mounts. This is Chris's 6-inch F5 Reflector on our DIY mount. Nice picture Chris Below is Udo's scope. He has another Elcan scope attached to his DIY 6-inch F5 Newtonian. He has since mounted a 4-inch Televue Genesis atop his reflector. Nice combination UDO.
