Rowing is one of the best all-round exercises. Its fluid movement incorporates the legs, back, arms, shoulders and hands. And the current growth in the sport is an indicator of the appeal to all age groups and interests. One can row a few times a week with friends or put in a hard practice every morning with your competitive partner - the choice is yours.

The Georgian Bay Rowing Club offers programs for high school students, adult men and women and university students. Our friendly learn-to-row programs for all would-be rowers from 12 years of age to seniors run at convenient times throughout the summer.

Each year we hire an experienced university rower and a high school assistant to manage our summer program. If you would like to be that person make sure you visit our job opportunities.

And our biannual regattas in even numbered years are becoming famous for their friendly but competitive events.
